Is it broke?

1989 Kawasaki GPX 250

The entire time I have owned it (since March this year) the bike has never needed even a hint of choke (even on the coldest morning)

I thumb the starter and within 1-2 seconds its running, no hesitation no spluttering, nothing negitive no matther how bad the frost is (is gararged tho)

I ask because I had wondered to myself that it should want some but doesnt seem to need it?

I prob answer my own question but if it aint broke..

I looked around on the net a whole lot more and can find no reference to what my bike is doing being bad, so I call it a win

I just bought my bike, honda cx400, it has a broken choke cable, the handle bar end is missing in the choke lever, the previous owner (of 3 years) did not even know it was broken.
I only noticed as it has a slow idle when cold. put my finger on the choke (at the carb) and the idle speed increases. Yes I am getting a new choke cable

Took my wee 250 in for a service...at the same time.. same bike in for a service 20km on clock... mine had 6km .... owner asked me if I used my choke... I said YE every time... he said good.. cause the chicky that rides the 20km bike doesn't...and her battery... is f...ked!

my bros is the same, and at 22 years old too, just means its a good design I reckon.
