    'uckin oath!

riding along quite happily then realised by input was doing nothing and i was drifting to the side of the road with about a foot of run off onto a 5m drop....FUCK YOU GRIT!

rode along the grass verg of doom for a bit sliping and sliding then rejoined the road where I took some deep breaths (which only fogged up my visor) and shook myself down.

otherwise it was a pretty typical winter ride, full of muddy roads with unmarked grit and cold tyres....

I WANT FUCKIN SUMMER BACK NOW!

Was a very enjoyable but interesting ride around the summt route, had almost the same off road excursion as Dave but this happened going downhill and struck loose grit on a sharp bend. Managed to stay upright somehow as I had HOT following me so was a tad embarrassed as could have been different result taking HOT down as well. .............Sorry Helen hope all is good, cant afford to wipe out the ST brigade
Big ups for the photos Gloplg and Neels congrats on your ST as even Gloplg was impressed (swamped by) by the ST congregation
And HOT can we swap STs on the next ride so I can use your heated grips

not a bad first sat ride i thought. rear tyre slipped out a few times on the summit road, but nothing that left me with some brown jeans.

bit of a shout out to gloplg for giving me a rough idea of how to take the corners, il hook you a beer next time for your trouble.

hope i wasnt too hard for robert to follow me as i probably did some pretty noobish things. (he moves that gn pretty well i reckon)

good to see a few 250's out as well and keeping up too.

i wont be able to make it next saturday, but might be able to come along for the wed maintenance night.

thanks for making me feel welcome etc.

No probs GB. You were pedalling the zeal fairly quickly most of the time yesterday.

Join us any time you are able to.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

So who else rode today (Sunday?)

Spent a grumpy day yesterday in the gray and cold doing essential domestic duties etc.

But that ment a Sunday arvo leave pass. Rode to Hill Top for a coffee (via Haswell/Tai Tapu) and returned via Gebbes and the Bays.
Not too much traffic and roads OK. Just touring so no frights

    Roll on the better weather!

Yeah, all good, great afternoons ride. I thought roads were supposed to be like this.
Anyway, two French words will cure any issue you may have with this type of motorcycling:
    -Anakee
    -Sirac

    Job done.

    Next week, then?
