What a great days ride in the Rapa. summer riding was with us today. I was all set to leave the White Swan and got persuaded to do ANOTHER loop of Western Lake Was even better the second time

So good to see you all again especially the long lost Darren welcome back to the fold.
And wot Rev said - Will - you look great - nice confident lines and riding. Look forward to the next ride.

And whoops - huge scrape on my muffler on the hill - i didnt know i could lean it over that far

Hopefully some of you rider will be out next weekend as I am picking up my new bike tomorrow! Woo hoo!

Thanks Carla and Gary for the todays adventure out in Wairarapa
Never had ridden the western lakes road until today and thoroughly enjoyed it
Was great to share a few laughs and catch up with some familiar faces and meet some new ones

Think I might have to start taking a short acting sedative to help me get over the Rimutakas in that traffic though (those darn yellow lines)

That certainly was a great ride, brilliant weather and laughs - thank you Carla for organising it.

Couldn't believe that I stalled three times in a row at the end - how embarassing - and there's always an audience when you least want one. Bit more practice needed with the new throttle methinks.

That's hilarious Ratti!! I wonder who's house it was I tried to walk into. I hooked up a 12v cigarrette lighter power outlet to my bike battery so I can plug my GPS into it, I might have to use it.

Carla is the authority on the riding routes, she is wise, she will lead the way.

Not sure who they are. They only moved in last year and I dont see them at all. Im pretty sure there is at least one bike lives there tho, or at least visits regularly. Maybe I should invite them to my 40th birthday in October???

At least you will know which house to wander into next time. Maybe I should paint a motorbike on the shed doors? or a whopping big house number?or a bit rat?
