Mototts inaugural Manfeild trackday a success

Looks like we might get lucky, and they might just be here to stay !

The impending bad weather (that didn't arrive till late in the day) did put a few that had pre-booked off, but groups 2 and 3 were pretty much as full as they will allow and the group 1 guys and gals had plenty of room to stretch their legs, (wasn't that fun to watch)

Still plenty of room in group 4 for those that wanted to try their first track day or pootle around without anyone blazing past !

The Set rules Motott have, makes for a safe, stress free day for riders and i think everyone pretty much adhered to em (did have the odd moment where i had to back off from cutting up the inside of a few under brakes)

Did notice the lines guys were a little lonely out there though, Alan and Paul are out there to help show ppl around the track in groups 3 and 4 and all ya need do is ask em to do just that, a quiet word to em between sessions and they'll lead you around at your pace, showing the best and safest lines !

Well done to Vanessa for winning the Beric leathers in yesterdays Draw

Although I didn't participate I was impressed, well done. Might even get out there on the next one, we'll see.

anyhow.. I had an awesome day! Got a heap of footage which I am editing this morning. Had a blast following the long haired one round with the camera. Pity about the R1 coming in and stealing my limelight! The video come out real good.. Just got to decide which parts to cut out to get it under 10 mins. (or is it 15 now for youtube?)
Im thinking I really should have put those wets on for one last session to try them out but then again... fuck that!
Did get 4 good sessions in and was very impressed with the fast turnarounds. Not using the sliproad certainly speeds things up ALOT!

Yeah Awesome day, really enjoyed seeing some old Mates there which I havent seen for a while, also neat to meet some new people I dont think Ive meet before.
Will be down again next month hopefully.

now I need to come up with a better plan for tying down the site !

What a awesome day, ever different to other track day companies in how they run things. I think you are right about the sliproad.
