Christ j/wrestler thats a fair few years ago.
Sweet memories of drunken Gumby's, and Jangoes.
Of beer being spilt on two up CB1100F riders that didn't make up the six cross hill climb.
And sweet jelly wrestler doing things that would make a Thaiwanese $2 whore blush.

The weather forecast is currently a little shaky for Friday, but Saturday and Sunday look like they might be pretty nice.

Oh well, if I wear the wet weather gear on the ride down then that will be a little less to pack.

have a close look at ya tyres, they should have little grooves designed to handle the rain.

Yep, with some care over the tar snakes the rain shouldn't cause any problems, I'll still get there before dark on Friday.

Right - never ridden in snow before. Any tricks to staying upright?

There shouldn't be snow at the site, however if there is I doubt there will be much left in the afternoon. Easiest thing to do is treat it like going across mud and keep the bike in the low rev's to get better forward traction. No sudden movements, and always look forwards. If possible, follow someone else so you have a bit of warning when something tricky is comming.

I had lots of fun getting the ZX10 to this point.

    No pressure now.

As soon as they saw the weather forecast. The excuse will be "They had all their money tied up with the South Canterbury Finance ".
