I might also point out that KB members are defending champions in the Slow Ride, the Weiner snatch, Wheelie comp and probably had the most successful attempts at the hill climb.

Shame you won't be coming along this year, was looking forward to catching up. Hopefully I get to meet your 3 lovely friends from the south up at the site? You can't miss me - I'm short, far too small for my bike, and hardly ever stop giggling!

Been checking the forecasts all week and dammit, it's getting worse. If it doesn't snow it will be a miracle!

Gees, of all the weekends to have a polar blast come through!

Bikes are already packed and ready to go. Might see if I can fit an extra jersey in tho - yay for bungys and drybags

Have upped my doseage of concrete pills, and will assess in the morning!

Its looking like its going to be a great weekend with the weather thats been forecasted. Wind, rain and maybe snow. Yeehaa. Im quite glad im riding up on the trail bike now.

Ha! I dont think they have ever been called lovely before! But yeah, you should see them there. Have a good one and pack extra thermals....I've seen the forecast

Agreed - how to try and fit that extra jacket in the bag now? Its seems its come down to the option of either wet weathers, or the extra warmth. And Yay for bungys and drybags indeed, I have a new found respect for them

Bike is all packed too. Ready to rock and roll tomorrow. Reckon it's going to be a pretty sleepless night for me.

It isn't called the warm kiwi! Regardless of the forecast or weather tomorrow morning I'll be as geared up as I can and use the rain cover on my tail bag - better to be warm and dry for me and my gear than not to be.
