OK so we are going to the Greta pub, via Waikari and Scargill, for lunch on Saturday.

Some of our group may wish to join up along the way. Top of Marshlands Road (12.20 ish) just before the motorway onramp and either Woodend ( 12.30 to 12.40ish catch us as we go through) or Amberley usual regroup point 12.45 to 1.00 ish.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! Only 3 weeks and 6 days to WNR
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

What size of tank do you have??

Mine is about 10 litres, I usually fill up before going on the ride, then fill up on the way back at Amberely (sp?) you could top up in Amberely before heading up to Waikari.

    About 170-180 kms, IIRC.
Won't be there - probably blast down to Timaru for the day.

You'll be fine. Even if you do fill up somewhere along the way I can probably guarantee you wont be the only one.

Like Spuds says, you'll be fine! You'll be good all the way there and back to Amberly, then just top it up!
