gotta keep the spring chickens alive. check your tyre pressure every week, or absolute maximum two weeks, and must be on cold tyres.

    ...just ask sly_guy

    p.s. shouldn't you be outside BMX-ing ?

Hi Toto, I have been given a bit of shit over checking my tyre preasure about every two weeks on my Harley. Other riders say that they never check their tyres and that there must be something wrong with mine. I ride at least once a week over winter. Cheers Beth

Try putting a bubble of spit over the valve Beth. If the valve is leaking you'll see the bubbles forming in the spit. If the valve is not leaking the spit will just sit there.

hmm...might be wise to check before every ride, eh. you're the one who's going to bin if your tyres lose too much air, not your "friends".

    Tyre preasure

Hey guys thanks I will check my valves with spit while the bike is stationery. ha ha. That's why I check my tyre preasure cos its my ass on the line - not theirs. And NO I will not buy a Honda. I love my Sporty especially since I put Short Shots on it and you can hear me coming for klms!!!Thanks again guys and girls.

I check my tyres often if I have 2 psi less the bike feels like shit and every bike I've ever owned does! Most bikes I have owned also have lost a psi or two over a week parked up so check it every ride when you gas up! Tyre pressures are the most important handling adjustment you can make ask any racer. Stick with your routine and start bagging the others for not noticing their wrong tyre pressures. "what can't you feel it!" LOL!!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
