Had a good ride today, 2wheeled Gasman (Paul) from Hastings come down on his bike and went through to Palmy, looked in a couple of bike shops, had lunch at Moxies where Owl met us. Fueled up and headed through to Halcome, such a mint road, stopped in Hunterville for a comfort stop and a smoke and who should happen along but Roadking. Heading off to do the same stretch of road we set of on a most enjoyable run though V.Hill narrowly avoiding the rain along the way. Said our see ya laters at Cheltenham and headed home through Ashhurst. Gotta say one of the more enjoyable runs though V.Hill in a while, cheers guys.
Be rude not to get there, sounds like fun, will try to organise it.Weather should be better in Nov.
Hello officer put it on my tab
Don't steal the government hates competition.
Not sure yet really, I've had a very good run with the angels, I haven't had a worry with them at all and I've commuted to town is some pretty average weather.
Meanie mentioned PR2's, it will be one of the two, ANZA quoted $10 difference between the two so not sure yet, I'm swaying toward PR2's just to give them a try, just to see if I can beat 11000 km on them![]()

Yesterday Monaime and I head thru to Roys Hill (Hawkes Bay) for Flag Marshall training.
Left Ashhurst at 7.10am, great run thru to Dannevirke for a quick coffee, then headed off to HB via Highway 50, awesome ride, traffic minimum, weather perfect, arrived Roys Hill
9am.
Attended training session, then off to Mstrs and Tarts for coffee, then headed home.
By this time the weather had started to pack in, rain from Tinokino, temp had dropped (yes I really need heated hand grips), stopped at Dannevirke to refuel, Sarge and his mate Paul were at BP, so quick chat with them. And off we head, rained all the way home.
Great day out, great company and best of all..........Glad to have a good ride on my bike after so long.
And for the record have finally done 5000 miles (yes my bike is in miles) on my bike, in not quite 2 years. More riding required

Yeah, depends on a lot of things as to how well your tires last. I got 9k out of my PR2 rear tyre but it probably had another 1k left in it. Which is by far the best milage i've gotten out of a rear tyre. Best thing is now they come in a 190/55 rear too which is a profile i'd be keen to try on my bike.
Bugger...............lost my weekend rides subscription and missed all this activity. Thought it was a little quiet?
Read a really good review/test on these batteries Jonno and they look like the ducks nuts. Some issues with fitment, but they outperform almost anything?
Hey spammer. I've already had my annual sleepover. I don't think I could handle 2 in one year
FMS alright! I couldn't bring myself to turn off at Colyton like I said. I figured you'd noticed
Cheers for the mint ride and great company!
