    SUPERLITE REGULATIONS
Superlite class will exist for ‘formula’ type machines. The class listed
below (1-1 to 1-5) allows modifications to the machines to be carried
out while still keeping a similar level of performance between
    machines.
These rules apply to all National Championship and Endurance
Championship races. At other meetings these rules will apply unless
    varied in the Supplementary Regulations.
    1. Capacity Groups:
(Refer to rule 5 below for specifications and restrictions within
    a capacity group)
    1.1 Multi-cylinder four stroke up to 450cc
    1.1a the working displacement of a 3 or 4 cylinder 4 stroke
(cylinders producing power) shall be no more than 450cc.

1.2 Multi-cylinder production based two strokes up to 400cc

1.3 Twin cylinder, air cooled, four stroke up to 750cc
1.4 Single cylinder four stroke 251cc - Open Capacity
    1.5 Single cylinder two stroke 200cc - 500cc
1.6 Twin cylinder, 2 or more valves, water cooled 4 stroke up to
    650cc

Surely though this only applies to the Nationals, most clubs appear to be sticking with the Formula classes, at least for now...
Yep exactly, I'm intending to do nationals, have been planning and saving for it since the start of the year. I simply cannot afford to buy a complete exhaust system for my bike and get it tuned to supersport rules. Anything to keep the costs down. I guess, selling my shock will generate a bit more money.

We have and have had for sometime a 3 level suspension options upgrade package for all budgets. There are those who like to perpetuate an unfounded rumour that we are expensive but thats not so as the varying levels we have suit all budgets

Level 1 Revalve and respring original shock / forks

Level 2 Fit piston kits ( Race Tech or Ohlins ) and respring

Level 2a Fit a combination of Race Tech kitted front and Ohlins rear

Level 3 Ohlins front fork cartridges, Ohlins rear shock

Obviously there are certain cases where stock pistons are just not going to cut the mustard but we always work with the customer to achieve the best result at the best price. Many people will testify to that!

We are also a team! Dennis Shaw and I have been working with suspension since 1985, in Dennis's case a handful of years earlier.

Mmmm, my whatever make, fold up leavers added 40bhp to my bike and made me irresistible to women.
So now I have to go and buy mega bucks OE leavers
Still at least I can grind the crank a llittle Don't suppose that would cost much eh DC

    Hard to understand?

A change from the proposed Supersport rules
Wiring loom, ECU and fuel injection control units, only the
standard functions of OEM ECU's are permitted to be used
    (this excludes quickshifter functions)
SO you can fit wiring loom and ecu and everyone will have one. Then Ban the use of a function that all bikes will have and is very hard to enforce! Why oh why???
This lot are out of touch

Yeah agree, they have very little benefit for the people that can afford them apart from looking cool. Why would you ban them and make the rules more complex than they need to be.

Why don't ya just cast your own levers off an original...make as many as you like...wouldn't cost more than a few bucks each!

I can only think to stop cheap copies for safety sake? Pretty hard to enforce. This ban rules out the very practical fold up levers. Daft.

    Wot ozzie said too...daft.

RDJase...."400cc 2 smoke production based" in F3. Obviously it's banning GP frames but still unsure if an RGV framed NSR400 would be ok?

Everyone can just ride 125GP, the rules are easy as.
Almost anyone but a total fat bastard can ride one if they work at it.

Enjoy your stressing over the new rules for everything else.

Yet under 7.1 The following may be added:
    e) Quickshifters

Are they just trying to limit the use of the thumb quickshifters or is it an unfortunate cut/paste error ?
