Registered my 1000 today for daylight savings - $305 for 7 months.

My risk of accident is no less cause I don't really get out in winter anyway, but I saved myself $212.

The revenue collection from tickets was so successful, that the govt decided to expand operations?

The crack down on illegal road use activities has been so successful that roading injuries have been reduced to the point whereby the health system has lost the benefits of economies of scale, and each individual must pay more?

Curiosity, what's the currency rate difference between now and 20 years ago?

Probably not far off an apprentices weekly wage back then.

When I registered my bike in 07 (Sep), it was around the $200 mark and slightly cheaper than a car. I guess inflation has caught up..........big time.
