and just maybe I'll have enough to buy a new bike and a new car which of course I'll have to pay tax on

... and the pollies might still want a 10% trade in of their perks ... best just up GST to 20% and leave the tax bands the way they are

    So....emmachizzit going up to?

    We're paying $1.15-$1.29 for 91 atm.

Aussie dollars, so it doesn't count?

I earn in aussie dollars, at a rate 45% higher than for the same job in NZ in NZ dollars - so it's relevant.

To be honest it's an expense i'm going to have pay... hang on... (asks wife) it's 1.73 for 91 ATM (give or take for regional bullshit))... when I fill up I just look at the total, not how much it's gonna cost me per litre ignorance is bliss.
