    Replacing 07 R6 exhuast/muffler/can

Dropped my bike last xmas day going down a gravel driveway =[
Dented my can, which now looks like this (picture attached)

Found an OEM one off an 06 R6 on trademe for $100, which seems to be in good nick, just needs a clean.

so my question how much would be involved in swapping these over? or is the original repairable?

    Cheers

This is a perfect excuse to get an aftermarket can.

Do they have a bolt on inlet to the muffler? ie a clamp at the mid-pipe maybe?

Do the muffler mounts match - ie in the same point on the muffler and same distance to the mounting hole?

If they all measure up then it may be as simple as a bolt on job.

Honestly, if you're hard up for cash, why bother replacing it at all? It looks fine to me.

Should do, pretty sure the 06/07 are exactly the same.

$100 of Double Browns, and you won't even notice the dent is there.....
