    As a MAG-NZ member

Sadly i won't be on the ride due to family commitments, but wish all attending well.

Hawk is a bloody good guy who is working his arse off to make a difference, and the first reason the route changed was because I suggested that riding from ChCh to Timaru and back was about as boring a ride as you could get, so I suggested a couple of other options and the decision was made to do Akaroa because it's a popular ride and not too far while still being a decent blat.

My apologies for causing confusion, and all I ask is for the local motorcycle community to bear with us. We're very much a new group and making things up as we go along. We'll almost certainly piss a few people off and it's guaranteed we'll get things wrong, but we're not going to stop and crawl under a stone, because we think what we stand for is important. All I ask is to bear with us as we get things rolling and in a year or two we'll probably have got the hang of it.

if you have any ideas about how we can improve what we're doing, we're all ears.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

The problem with this approach is unless people join new organisations, they can't achieve their objectives and they fizzle out.

Kiwis need to learn this instead of just whining

I was referring to the ride not the organisation (MAG-NZ).
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
