+1. Wife is the same, and to be honest the few minutes I saw before I left for work usually made me laugh. Looks like it will be Jungle Junction from now on.

    Dickshits.

Agree totally, fucks me off that the self righteous pricks in NZ have succeeded in this when they sit silent about such things as the twins death, shit around a 16 yr old drinking to much ect ect. I work from home and to get up early have a leisurely coffee or three breakie and watch and have a laugh with the bloke was value. He might have been a gippo but he was a bloke with balls, unlike the many vagina clad pricks in Wellington.
Don't judge me based upon your ignorance.

Meh. The guy is just a loud-mouthed baffoon who has taken low-brow television to new lows - hence his popularity.

With the sense of humour of an eight-year-old, and no real journalistic interview skills, his loss can only improve the face of NZ television - as will the loss of his boycotting fans - a win-win situation...

With luck, a small corner of NZ television will rise above the ratings-based descent into the asinine and trivial.

I'm sure he'll be back after a suitable time in Coventry - hopefully in a role more suited to his abilities as a clown.

He had to go, it wasn't going to go away otherwise.

Breakfast was pretty average, Henry was entertaining at least particularly with Peter Williams, the endless 'weather' bullshit gives me the shits though.

Oh well, back to breakfast radio instead, oops no that's complete shit as well.

Cant understand why anyone would rise from there bed and welcome in a new day by turning on the bloody tv let alone listen to that nauseating prick,as for racist, his feeble attempts at it dont deserve even that label.

Much better off listening to Morning Report Tom. No need to watch the wireless - just have it on in the background, much easier than TV.

"What does 'ghandu' mean in Punjabi?

Gandu means that someone is dimwitted; contrary to a popular misconception, it has nothing to do with homosexualtiy. ChaCha on!

Thought I'd just include that to confuse everyone who thought it meant "born from the anus" which was the first meaning of the word I read.....

Said before, will say it again. Paul Henry is a lil wank stain. Will not miss his childish lil jibes at people who arn't there to defend themselves.
Josh Cromfield was most diplomatic, when on camera, he told Henry, "your a bit of a dickhead".
Hope the door slams you on the way out.

    2nded.
Although as he is not and never has been a journalist, perhaps it's a bit much to expect anything remotely resembling that standard from him.
Essentially he's a professional fourth form schoolboy as far as I can tell.

Where in the world have you been? The Kahui twins occupied the nation's attention for months including discussion on here. There was certainly no silence. And the lad who died from alcohol poisoning got a great deal of public attention and comment as well. A tragedy for his family which resounded throughout the country.

Paul Henry losing his job for immaturity is inconsequential beside these tragedies.

Exactly my point, why all the fuss about a guy having a laugh - my reference was the fact that Paul's little cockup was the leading story and topic in the news this week when the other two stories which truly reflect that which is wrong in NZ to-day yet the protesters and letters to the editor are strangely absent.
Don't judge me based upon your ignorance.

A valid point. It says a lot about the TVNZ heirarchy who would often put him in the prime-time position of interviewing the most news-worthy. Unfortunately he was seldom able to rise above the level of antagonistic jibes and petty point-scoring.
