Do you know how much gold it takes to go around those chubby digits. Its just a normal engagement ring - 'supersized' to fit.
They also will soon sell $100K shocks for Previa's.......if you don't think anyone needs $100K shocks in a Previa, I suggest you go for a drive through south auckland.
Yeah .. but come on .. $100K shocks? How many new Previas could you buy for that ?

The ring is just the start for the wedding ripoff business. All the other shit comes after that. Total total crock of shit, expertly marketed to a vulnerable sector of society. It should be subject to the same limits as marketing on cigarettes.

And all so some bint can be princess for a day. Fuck that, and the horse she rode in on.

spending any money of jewellary is a waste of money....bit of useless metal to adorn a finger.

I can think loads of other fun things to spend that kind of money. It's the meaning behind the ring that is all important. The ring is supposed to be a symbol of love not how much one earns (or is in debt).

Do I really need to answer that?

However I can categorically state that I'm not looking for an engagement ring at the moment.

A tight arse leaves a visible ring finger

Yes, you are right - we had a laid back day - a catered BBQ at my parents place, with our friends - cost buggar all.

Bought my first road bike the week after the wedding........... couldn't have done that if I had done the whole princess crap - besides the whole wedding was not about me, it was about my husband as well, and his kids.

I had intentions of keeping him. Sadly, he died of a nasty cancer early 2009.

I have kept the ring and the bikes. It's not how much he spent that mattered really. More that he cared enough to spend his hard earned money. In the end it's the memories that matter now.

    Who is their market?
    It's a standard retail strategy.

If you display your mainstream stock alongside an expensive item, it draws attention and makes the mainstream stock appear much more affordable.

Car dealers like to put sports cars into their show-room windows for the same reason.
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.
