Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
She or it as Cruza said...

Ok, nothing set in stone yet, but prolly Kaka Point, round trip through Telford, back to Owaka for lunch, then back to Tautuku; about 130km round trip with gravel detour for the chook chasers. There is also the option of a further 60km round trip in the other direction over some more 'challenging' road to Waikawa return.

Thought this would be more the map dangerous was after... little specific, just round about.
I have it up on Google maps but am having difficulty uploading it. Mayhaps someone a little more computer savvy can help. Or you could find it by getting directions from Tautuku to Kaka Point. Then continue north to intersection with road to Balclutha, turn left and meet up with main road at Ahuriri Flat Road intersection.
