Hehe, you just want to cross another river.
I can smell you....
Maybe - didn't get wet enough last time?
come for a ride up Mt Patriarch tomorrow (see Blenheim thread)
Probly not still got leg issues.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
To elaborate, 'cos I spoke to Shane at length Fri lunchtime. Track's mostly built if you want to take a look from the road. Sat 30th they will be putting the finishing touches on, and getting a couple of juniors out to test it. They want the juniors to be able to do it and enjoy it, so it can't be too hard for them. ADV'ers are invited to come out then and give it a bash. He said the trickiest bit might be going up the face of a loading ramp, but half of it will be ramped which most people will use anyway - shouldn't be an issue as most of us are quite happy going up short steep banks. Casing out might be an issue for adventure bikes.
Also he's going to see if he can bring another spare bike (Grace's old one?) for ppl to have a go on.
"Motocross with obstacles" is how he described it, as opposed to last-man-standing stuff. Search this (and/or the endurocross??) thread for the Richmond showgrounds event from January. Also, Morleys have a DVD of last year which they can let you watch. Did Nordie make it??
Cheers,
Colin

Something in the Moutere Depression might suit our westerly cohorts better, but I'm stuck for ideas. Flora Saddle carpark, watch the sunset before departing?
We could use the caving club hut, on top of Takaka hill, as it has cooking & eating gear, and shelter. But the road is sealed, apart from the driveway. Road bikes can get in there no problem, too.
What say you?

Over loaded the tooltube with 2 x 15" Buzzetti levers, 2 DRC combo spoon levers/spanners, 1 normal lever, chain breaker...
If they're still there when I get back, it works![]()
