    You sooooooooooo asked for this.

You could chase them until they crash and kill themselves (and probably some kittens and ducklings too)

Yup, all the usual braindead responses i expected. Of course i know my Big Mac had a bit of cow in it.
I just think that people that find killing something to be somehow fun or sport, just arent quite right in the head.

So how can you comment on something you don't understand? (sorry forgot I'm on KB)
Its just the same as non bikers saying riding bikes is dumb, or people that don't fish.

what you have basicly said there is its allright to eat meat as long as you don't kill it.

On the flip side, I've heard plenty of stories of hunters going into the bush and shooting way more than they could ever hope to bring out.

To me, that sounds like killing for the sake of killing.

Don't even try and make assumptions about my person without having any knowledge of who i really am.
Man has been a hunter gatherer since the turn of the century and beyond, he will continue to be far and beyond yours or my existence. It is a very normal part of life to most people who have lived off the land in some form or another. To calmly state that they must be "not quite right in the head" is a load of bollocks.
If you got off your hypocritical fat arse and stopped eating the Big Mac i may have some sympathy with your argument, but i find it a little obscure to be honest.
I guess you would say that all farmers that produce stock merely for slaughter must have some major head issues as well.

God i hate fuckin greenies! They all seem to be hypocrites.

It's ok to eat it as long as you don't kill it.
    Now that sounds inhumane!

To sum up a little on this one.
I don't think people who arent able to shoot/kill an animal are brain dead, but are making a choice for them selves.
    Think you get my point.
It may not be for everybody, but that doesn't make it a mental issue or wrong.
In future maybe you will try not to judge others on your greenie beliefs!

The real question is who can we trust with guns (or whatever you want to call them) because once the trigger is pulled there is no going back if a fatality results?

As others have said, same applies to the killing biker, car driver or whoever - so yes what can we do about "dumb f...s" in this country?
    Cheers

This is a tragic event, beyond that of which I can comprehend. To be the partner trying to keep her alive, and to have to live with that forever, a nightmare you'd wish on no-one. A tragedy for her friends, her family, her colleagues, and the children she taught and mentored at her school.

However. This has happened before, and it will happen again. People can debate the why's, where's, how's until the cows come home and nothing will change. You could ban guns, and still the same thing will happen, albeit with home made crossbows etc.

Idiots are everywhere, no amount of laws or regulation will ever control that. Even without idiots, smart people still make mistakes. And one day one of those idiots or mistakes may cross your path.

All we can take from this, is live your life to the best you can. Enjoy every minute you are alive. You never know when you'll draw your last breath.

Why the anger? it seems to be the standard response from these shoot em up types, which is a bit disconcerting really.

Why should that bother you? You could spend hours explaining the fun of bikes to some people and they'd still not get it. Ever.
