Cheers, got her wound up the other day (in the outback somwhere) , she gets a might 'bouncy" on her suspenders... , suspect that it needs a bit of weight in the wagon part.

Looks like ABS may become compulsory on bikes in Europe any time soon, if the EU have their perverted way...probably by 2012!

My old nail's had full bump/rebound/preload adjustable kitout on all four corners and it's good as gold now. I've driven it at some pretty horendus (for a car) speeds on some pretty rough *closed circuit* roads and it's mint. Probably still going nowhere near as fast as yours still however.

Fuck off with your safety for 'us' all shit. We're all 'the average' rider as far as stats go, and I want none of your rules and regs.
I'd like to see if you can stop a bike faster on a wet road without ABS than a good rider on a modern bike with a good ABS.

Haven't been out stopped by many people wet or dry on a race track, and I don't ride on wet roads very often if at all.

From my own rather limited experience, I've found the main problem with riding a non ABS equipped bike is poor road surfaces. I've managed to lock the front wheel on my bike on several occasions when applying only a moderate braking force, thankfully I didn't come off the bike but I did end up going right off the road on one of those occasions. It would be interesting to ride an ABS equipped bike on the same road to make a comparison.

Its prob not something you want to rely on. I think you should maybe look at how your braking and maybe your tyre and pressures
