White Trash Pearls of Wisdom #2654 - Refering to yourself in the 3rd person: The only thing gayer, would be being caught handcuffed around a public toilet bowl, an apple stuffed in your mouth and George Michael administering an epic caneing to your exposed cheeks while Boy George documents the event on a handicam.
MT-0S
Not yet released. Dunno if ever will go full production.
I would recommend a FZ1.......but it will kill you if your not careful.

I just checked that......on second thoughts this guy is coming off a Hyosung.
How about a SV400? Or Ducati Monster 400?
Yamaha equiv (that wont make squidmeat) would probably be one of the following:
XTX660
SRX6 or SRX4
That 660 sport single (can't remember name or model)
Basically if you haven't taken the hint I don't think you can handle a thou.....

After doing some research on the FZ1, I see they do a 600 version, which sounds more like me as I agree with you guys in the fact that 1000cc is too much this early. The problem with the 600cc bikes from what I've been reading is you need to keep them high up in the rev range which is why I mentioned the sv1000s in my first post.
Am I better looking at v-twins in the 600 range e.g. Honda Hornet?
Hornet's a 4 cyl bro, same as the Fazer 6.
People making judgements on what you should and shouldn't be riding without knowing you are a bit off in my own oppinion. I know plenty of people who have stepped straight from a 250 to a big bore sports bike with no dramas what so ever. It's all about attitude and what you're comfortable and confident riding.
Vote David Bain for MNZ president
and compared to your 250 a 600 is going to feel like riding a V8, at least that was my experience after a few cheeky rides on various friends 400s and 600s
Education not Legislation
Another good bike is the Kawasaki ER6 series, have ridden a ER6-N, went well.
Buy a fuel injected SV650, put an Ohlins shock in it, emulators, and in a while a PC3 and can, some decent sticky tyres, and have at it.
You would be on the road for round 8 grand, and you would learn to ride. Plus its not going to highside you and drill you into the scenery like a lawndart.
I thought elections were decided by angry posts on social media. - F5 Dave
