    Yes it was.

But I'm not sure it's a notable achievement for all those years on the public teat.
Kiwibank was/is more a political statement about sovereignty (or xenophobia depending on your side of the argument) than it was a necessity in banking terms.

The irony was that it is the Aussie Banks we have to thank for our relatively stable banking sector through this recession...

So no, I don't think Kiwibank qualifies Jim as a Politician with integrity and moral fortitude.

Exactly what I thought. I thought it was going to be a joke so came on in for a look. What a disappointment. The whole lot of them are a pack of lying, self serving, cunts.

Yes, I do. I believe you don't have the right to complain about their actions if you don't participate in the process. I assume this is what you were getting at? It's a matter of picking the ones I think are lying less than the others.

Must be a reflection on society I reckon, maybe its because the voters often lack in integrity & moral fortitude which requires strength of character & a willingnes to look into oneself.....much easir to remain indifferent & ignorant & get all wound up & whinge about some minor topic that the medias wound up all out of proportion.

ahhh, that'll be my problem then ... I got sent to Sunday School with money for the donation plate but went to the dairy instead and spent the money on a 50c mixture and then went home at the appropriate time. It was a good scheme until I got found out and then never got sent to Sunday School again. Bugger, I used to look forward to it!
