    You think that is bad Steve, wait until you see the entry form and the medical costs for emergency EVAC etc and the rental for the sentinel alarm etc...Not to mention the costs of actually getting there as well. This is why the Europeans loved it in Africa, nice and close.... You will have a hernia mate! At the end of the day, I think the KIWI bloke could do this for around $250,000 approx and have fun as a Privateer... Maybe....Then on day one, you get keen, go balls out because of the sheer excitement and your bike or you blow a fu-fu...All over rover...

    Now that Bultaco 370 Dakar bike is cool.

    Specially as it's been built for the upcoming Dakar.

    They are looking like a nice piece of kit.

    Looking very similar to the 690 to my eyes. Same trellis style frame, rear tank looks similar, maybe a bit stumpier.

    Is that lower suspension linkage I see. PDS seems to have run it's course with the current SX's having linkages again and now this.
