Agreed the sleeping in the tent is not good.....but the company makes up for it(and I dont mean in my tent!)

....and I can tell you Genie, from experience that lots & lots of dancing & drink(tequilla) helps make the tent thing bearable!

Do go!I'd love to meet you!

what makes it bearable for me is the kathmandau air bed and a bigger tent. Don't feel so claustrophobic. But i love meeting up with all the people i have meet through here. It is great.

I don't think she'll be in an Escort, I'm pretty sure she'll be bringing the baby ninja.

And I guess I'm sort of kinda obliged to join in seeing as I sort of kinda may have suggested it in the first place....

Tis funny how different things appeal. I was a bit surprised by the talk of disliking the tenting thing as the tenting/camping is one of the things that appeal to me about rallies. To me it's about the journey to and from, the camping, checking out the bikes that turn up, and catching up with mates ...

    oh and the wet T
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!

... dont find sleeping very comfortable on the damm expensive supposedly self-inflating mat thingy from Kathmandu....

But I enjoy the ride, atmosphere and company so much have decided sleeping is totally over-rated!

Well if you go then I'll definately go....it's also around the time I'll be celebrating my birth and I always like to do that in style, and it's always good to try a new style.

It's not that far to travel at all and I do have all the equipement I need to for camping.
