well another rally bites the dust. Fine on the ride down till a little after Glentunnel, then the misty rain set in for abit. Rally site was still dry so we set up in time to have dry tents and have a bit of a walk around. Just a bit of occasional drizzle at first then it kinda set in for a few hours.
Lil'm did her very best and managed to get us a firedrum so us hardy biker chicks got a FANTASTIC fire going after exploring the forest for some fuel and then bribing the trailer guys to bring us some wood... bit slow but they did eventually.
After the fire was well alight it was decided that we needed some shots to get things moving again. The Ducati bar was setup: tequila, Glayva, Baileys & cointreau, Ameretto, lots to choose from
So apart from the sucky drizzle during the day/evening I had a great time. Luckily it stopped in time for us to get up and dance till the early hours, enjoyed that last band, man they really worked well together!
Breakie at the checkered flag this morning and then home in the sunshine... think i need a sleep now

Ah well, I don't feel so bad having missed out Saturday night - wet rallies are over-rated.

IMHO The only things that should be wet at a rally are the booze and T-shirts.....

Fantastic first rally for me, great to finally put faces to online names, tho a few I may have already forgotten due to the vodka haze
Quite a few giggles to be had with the various entertainment which occurred

Thanks, hes been known to just keep on riding past his intended destination before so we are hoping hes just carried on yesterday or got up this morning and taken the long way home so to speak but finding it odd that he hasnt rung home and let his partner know what hes doing as he has always done.

Will do,his other 1/2 Vicky just said that if you didnt se him at the rally she doubts he went but just carried on as he mentioned that it would be good to catch up with Darryl and his Mrs.No doubt he is on his way home from Nelson or somewhere similar. He will probably wish he had stayed there when he gets home as a few family members will have something to say.
