ZXR250 brake line repairs in Auckland?

I need new break lines done on my bike. Who knows where I can get 'em fixed in Auckland?

Ring a car brake specialist, they'll be able to make new lines for you.

When my rear brake line burst on my old zxr250 I got Mike at Drury Performance Centre to fit a braided line, cost was around $150. I guess they can do you a full set.

Any hydraulics place (PARKER ENZED, Waitemata Hydraulics etc) will make you one up too (not braid, but that's overkill anyway). If you're not personally competent removing and refitting or don't have someone who can help that is, best to go to a brake specialist who can do the whole job. But it'll cost.
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!

Double check with Enzed, I'm not sure if they do brake hoses or not? If you use them make sure they know it's brake fluid and not mineral oil.

Just did. They still do. Unfrotunately, the workshop man I got seemed to think that braided brake lines (which they get in as required) still need DOT markings. They don't and haven't for a number of years. The only requirement is that the hose termination fittings are crimped on (can't be disassembled). Note: that only applies to the fitting in direct physical contact with the actual flexible hose.

    Here's one we prepared earlier.

Max-- I'd be checking with a WOF place about that one.

I already know the answer. The requirement for DOT markings was ditched about 6 years ago. Only the flexible hose termination fitting need to be crimped.
