I don't discriminate against roads, unless it has a few too many potholes

I am easy, thinking around lunch time? 12.30 dept from somewhere like bk. We could decide on where to go once we are at BK and how the weather is looking.

Ok, so at this stage myself, gloplg and gareth are keen for a ride.Aanyone else can join in. meet at bk at 12.15, or just whatever for a 12.30 ish (no hurry to leave) departure. We will decide where to go at BK.

Easy - after getting almost in a prang with some "enthusiastic" passing on blind corners with no warning at the bottom of Evans, I just can't be bothered, sadly... Loved riding with some of you guys, but others I'd definitely not want to be riding with (and they would probably feel the same, no doubt). I always thought the ride was supposed to be cruisy, but there seemed to be a bunch who reserve the right to show their "attributes" (fast bike? slick moves? superior skill? experience? "balls"?) at any opportunity, safe/legal or not (and I know legal can be an idiot, but would think safe vs 1 or 2 seconds advantage is a pretty lame excuse).

(Yes, I know I ride like an old fart, but it has kept me alive for 25years of farting now. If I want to fang it - and I can, but I sort of outgrew that after the first few natural brown-trou incidents - at least I do it away from others, not putting them at risk too. Whatever.)

Anyway, if anyone wants to get in touch that's great, but I'm avoiding the pack mentality situations for now; did just get thru Nelson for the first time on the bike, which was nice... Takaka Hill next sometime.

I could be keen, been a while since I've done any KB ride, maybe cause I haven't had a bike for a while. Might see u there.

sweet as, should be no rain today. she's looking a bit cloudy at the moment, hopefully the sun will come out soon
