    WTF is it with men?

Went out for a ride today, had a great time, get home 5 hours later to find this face greeting me I left the husband alone today so he could have some quailty time with his youngest boy. Instead he was angry that I hadn't let him know when I would be home, and as I (unknown to me) had missed a call from him, he thought I was laying in a ditch somewhere.
He knew I was riding up to see an old friend and that when we get together which is not often, we spend quite a while talking etc. I thought he would like the time along with his boy. Apparently not.
So now I have a grumpy man who has his angry face on.
    Men are silly.

He cares for you.....Hell, I get in a tizz if my wife is much later home than expected....its a normal caring reaction. Our minds tend to imagine the wost case scenario's

Give him a hug, say sorry for causing him concern, he will get over it (and think he has had a win)

Start cooking dinner in a bikini. His frown will quickly turn upside down

Yeah..... but....... the other night he called me from work and said he was leaving now, and got home 3 hours later and I was out of my mind with worry and he thought it was funny. I was at a girlfriends house who I have been friends with since I was 11 and we don't see each other that often, of course I am going to be there for a while.

Nah he seems too grumpy to want to have a little making up fun.

Just give him a bit of space. He'll come round soon enough.

Try my little technique, I will be glad to see if it works for men,

    Simply say...

"Oi, you cant possibly have the arsehole with me mister. It cant be anything I've done cos I aint been here all day....so cheer up...."

Sounds like the two of you need to communicate a little better, a simple text saying "Leaving now, be home in about X minutes" or "coming home via the long way, see you in a couple of hours" saves you both some grey hairs!

I can see your point since he did the same to you and thought it was funny. However communication as has been suggested is much better for the nerves. My wife walks to work most days as it's less than 10min to walk. But I do worry if she's later than 10-15min getting home. Maybe it's a man thing...? I'd be happier for her to take the car despite living in a "good" area, quiet with virtually zero crime and having good neighbours.
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
