Im working in the morning and looking at heading up to puke to watch Nigels mini race when finished work, so count me out. Think we should look at organising something for next week though

1320 kms, 22 bikes, 32 people, 3 days glorious weather , amazing location , some stunning roads - What an excellent excellent trip !!!
Mangamuka gorge as good as ever.
Waipoua forest - WOW again
Twin bridges road - 70 kms of lovely sweeping twisties , stunning
Cape Reinga - what a spot.
Manganui - gotta be one of the loveliest spots in NZ
World Famous fish n chip shop in Manganui is world famous for a reason - superb
Do it all again in a heart beat & we are - heading back up in early Jan for 2 nights
If you don't know where you are going , any road will get you there ............
Manganui has nothing on Cable Bay(just up the road).
The fush and chups are good at Manga but god they know how to charge! Cool location though. I've always liked that about it.
I've never done the forest road on a bike but it IS bloody cool...mmm I should try and round up a tribe to give it a crack.
Just heard on the Radio that Boyds are having a big sale Friday & Saturday. If you know Boyds sales there are usually plenty of bargains to choose from!!
Pub tonight - see what interest there is for a ride Sunday as getting close to silly season and holiday time. Still 8-10-12 of us that turn up every Wednesday to the Rapa tavern!!

oh oh oh I might have to go back in on Saturday and have a looky at the boots I was looking...at...then. I didn't really plan that sentence well. Unless some bugger buys them.
No, I'm not telling anyone what they were or what size they were. I see the shifty look in some of your guys eyes. You'll buy them to piss me off.
Don's racing his dragbike at meremere on Sunday so I'm thinking about heading up there to have a looksee - everyone seems to have things to do leading up to Xmas so probably no planned rides until mid January - keep an eye on the thread and calendar!!!

Off to Rotorua for their classic club get together on sunday, taking the Laverda. Good trip to NP for the National Rally, some very nice bikes there.
Went to Rotoroa via the back roads south of Tokoroa, no traffic and great for bikes. Good range of classic and some modern bikes at the Rotorua Classic Club Rooms for lunch.
A good blast on the way home for the Laverda, got rid of some cob webs, still a bit rich on the left but we will get it right.![]()
Good turn out at Pub last night and good to see Mr & Mrs (2B) Leighton come along for Josh's birthday on Sunday.
May be a few go out this Sunday but forecast not looking good. If so leaving Kingsate Hotel 10.30 ish.
Keep an eye on this thread because there may be a chance of a pre xmas catch up BBQ sometime next week before the big "X" day
have a safe one out there all you Laxed Out Riders!!!

oooooo neato about the barbee. The last one I went to was bloody good (how many years ago was that?!?!)
I was hoping the weather was gonna hold for Sunday but not so sure. I wanted to get a ride in before chrissy-maz day. At least we're getting some sort of wet stuff to grow the grass 2mm. We're looking pretty thin out here.
