What should I look for when buying gear? Where is the best place to buy good gear at a decent price in Auckland?
I have RJays boot - and love them to bits...........

Your website mentions an outlet in Pakuranga. Is this still open? http://www.qmoto.co.nz/archives/453

Friggin cagers don't look and certainly don't see black.

The industry needs to help the riders, why not be first and make a difference??

I have an Rjays jacket, about 1 yr old now. Have had a slide at about 30km, no bruises or scrapes, jacket was fine. Was waterproof until 6 months but now the red bits down the arms are not even pretending to be waterproof & I have tried putting waterproofing stuff on them & everything. Wouldnt get it again, would try Quasi gear, did a ride with a guy who had a leather jacket from him, it was pissing down the whole ride & it never leaked, i thought that was bloody amazing for leather not to leak.

Wearing black leather is all part of ''the look'' and how bikers are percieved in general in the minds of a small percentage (of bikers)
Quasi (or anyone for that matter) wouldn't move race suits if they were just black, thats a given, once again, its all part of 'the look' but this time....at the track.
Thanks to Barry Sheene many years ago, those that go fast in same direction moved away from the drab black look and into colourful suits, one step closer to a tie and cufflinks.
I have always had a bit of colour, but my next jacket will be a re'vit and black.
Some may say its a personal choice to wear black, but if the choice was out there maybe that wouldn't be the case? in saying that, I saw a guy once in a full red Ducati one piece at the Puhoi Pub and he looked like a homo, drinking a ginger beer didnt' help...

My jacket is pink and white, and I get a bit of shit from other women about it - but I love it - a lot of women seem to think that pink is gross and that woman should be wearing black and looking cool.
My point is that I am easily seen compared to black leather. The only downside is that I am instantly recognisable and therefore have to be on my best behaviour at all times!
