I've just been talking to the camp custodian. He was very happy with the state the camp was left in. Big thanks to all those that took part in the clean-up.

We had a brilliant weekend and of course we made sure the weather was just right! Glad everyone had a good time. Scored a couple of leftover bottles of plonk. Dave is keeping them for us!
Scummy mowed the lawns after washing the bugs off the bikes and I hauled a couple of phages of weeds out of the garden!
Back to work today and looking forward to my next ride. The cop was heading down the road just as we went through Papatowai - foreigners had fallen off the road at the Whistling Frog!

In a rental car. I saw it being trucked down the road.

Looks like the cave was a stunning sight to behold. A perfect excuse to make a future excursion.

Thanks to you all for making this a great weekend. Meet a lot of new faces, put faces to names, and caught up with old mates, and rallies! Awesome to catch up with the 'great nephews'.
Made better timing on the way home, daylight, sunshine and dry roads helped!
Dumped bike and gear at home, grabbed car and went to watch youngest at gym club. Did my best to stay awake until safely at home on the couch, when I unleashed the snores dying to get out! Will work on getting photos up asap.
We also saw a car on its roof on our way home but it was quite a bit further down the road from Whistling Frog, were there two maybe? They didn't need help when we stopped to ask, so just carried on.
