I blame Labour. Any major infrastructure developement got f**ked by the RMA letting 4 hippies prevent implementation because a river would go through their bean patch (or more likely some rich cock smoker not wanting a view of pylons over his 80000 acre property).

Or maybe Valley Power in Victoria, where most of the original Whirinaki and Stratford P&W FT4's ended up. I don't think Genesis will be keen to run the P&W units after the hassles they had at Te Awamutu.

wrong, the national grubbermint sold our state owned electricity asset, last time they were in power.
and you retards voted them back in?
its funny coz ive only met one person who voted for them, yet 200 who voted labour. is it fluke, or do i hang with only one type of crowd? i reckon the whole voting thing is fixed, and they rig it, the polititians treat us and NZ as backwater hicks to be played, so why wouldn't they?
apparently a russian mafia boss owns one of the electricity companies, and a french international arms dealer owns another.

Wrong again. They split the generators into 4 companies and sold one of them. They kept the other 3 as State owned assets. They also kept the transmission network as an SOE. Labour then compounded the problem by making the local body electricity boards split their assets into retail, lines and generation, and they were allowed to keep one of these and had to sell the other two.

Best way to pay less for your power is just use less.

Its all about the companies & not about us anymore.

Aye... 24/7 air conditioned rooms for servers, pc's left on all night to name a but a couple... and probably a HUGE discount on the electricity bill because they're a volume user
