So is anyone actually heading out tomorrow? I haven't ridden in weeks could be keen no matter what the weather. Just don't really feel like heading down there for nothing!

You may be lucky with the weather and you may even be lucky to be graced by my presence Brooke is heading to the in-laws to drop off lockie so it'll just be me if I manage it. I didn't have anything planned for tea so it works out well.

Nigel (sorrelboy) and I just did a quick trip out to Pirongia for a bite to eat as our partners were otherwise engaged. You didnt miss much absolutely bucketed down on way back.

Trina and I heading to Whangarei this Saturday for 2-3 days on bikes so no ride planned for Boxing day, hopefully get back in the groove of LOR weekend group rides after new years stats are out of the way.

    merry Christmas all.

Good BBQ last night pity more of you could not make it. Anyway seems that everyone is away or busy for the next couple of weeks so rides are off until the 16th of January when we will do a good one. probably down piopio Waitomo way, maybe via the Kawhia road. Details will be discussed between now and then. The idea would be for me to shout breakfast for the group as a new years get together and head off for what will be a good 200-250km ride. Would be nice to see some new faces and new riders are more than welcome. Also be good to catch up with some of the longer serving members of the group!!

    who's keen??

    Its in the calendar

mammoth effort that! More so because it's on xmas day. The roads around Gizzy and HB would be cool. It actually sounds like a perfect way to head down there

I'm in. Talked to Brooke about it too and she seems keen to get back onto 2 wheels.

Good barbee too. Ta Rideon and Misred (just in case you want your secret identities to remain secret ). Where the bloody hell are the rest of my sausages!!?? haha I went to grab one of the grill and some tidy bugger pinched them.

Anybody up for a Boxing day ride? Prefer morning myself but not necessarily leaving at sparrow's fart...
