My missus used to work with a young girl, 22, who'd been to eight of her friends funerals in a year.....all died in RTAs.
Your avatar and need for power over experience has me reeeaaallllly hoping that one day you too can be called an old fart.
The reason there are old farts are that we have a bit of road sense and education through experience.
Im 21, Still on my L.. Had that for 1 year now and on a GSF250
The only stupid question is a question not asked!
Lets see...
Yammy QT50.
Yammy V90.
Yammy SR185.
Honda VT250F - Proper.
Suzuki Savage 400.
Gilera Nordwest.
Honda XL250S.
Honda XR250Z.
Suzuki DR650SE.
Suzuki GSX400F - Proper(ish).
Don't like the road bikes. They don't corner well enough for me.
If only I could fulfill the stereotype and listen to new music, but alas it just drives me insane with the sheer stupidity of it. It's classic rock, and classical music for me. Needless to say the girls aren't too happy if I put on my ipod at a party
But at the end of a hard night nothing's better than singing along with a few drunken mates to a good portion of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.![]()
.... a prerequisite for any person of age, to have gained any wisdom from this life, is to have been young and stupid as a youth, and survived...espousing ones wisdom is generally a sign one has not quite got there yet...but baiting young people is sometimes fun...![]()
I think I was 20 when I got my first road bike, got a brand new R6 sold it the next year and got a GSXR1000 cause it was too slow. Ended up going back to MX for 6 years because it was boring riding bymyself on the road...
Then I found road racing!!! Dont wait till your too old like I did, flag riding proper bikes on the road and bring them to the track
