There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.
but how about this
keeping to true back road wherever poss

I'm now out sorry. That weekend just got filled up with other stuff.
just home from beach ...and off to gizzy till 5th. keen for some sort of adventurising from then 42nd definately a possibility.
see ya on the 5th for anyone who wants to tagg along....somewhere!
Anything happening 7,8,9th?
Would love a Pureroa Forest, 42nd trip.
Will be packing tent for the cheapest option possible for accom.
I was thinking friday down to Pureroa and stay the night at the Doc camp site
I should begin on the greasing of palms to get let out for the weekend.
I am not working at the moment, so anytime would suit me.
Maybe we should just meet up at the Camp ground on early saturday avo, have a bit of a look-see around Pureroa stay the night at Kakaho campsite have some fun on the way out to the 42nd.
But looking at the weather it looks like it might be a bit average. I am not particularly interested in doing the camping in the rain thing.
I am also thinking of heading up to Uretiti Beach for a overnighter, which with the nicer weather north may be more likely to happen.
back at ya on the wet weather capming avoidanceforecast last night was for "drizzel" in that area which i can live with....just!
I'm not sure where the Kakaho campsite is....but assume that means a tent etc?
Am keen to catch up for a ride inspite of the weather...looks like it won't be cold atleast....but would like to hit the road tomorrow so will add some lake wiakeri in...my mate Jim might have a batch for sleep over Friday night at motuoapa (lake taupo) so looks good for a rodavu..roundaveiw...errr...meet up at the camp ground on satdee arvo?
i'll keep ya posted![]()
Kakaho is about here
And yes it would be tent required camping, that is assuming there is room, as it is a first come first served camp site (I think).
Will have to play it by ear at my end, I assume you are traveling with someone else, so if I don't make it I am not bailing to leave you solo?
no worries I will have my trusty wing man on his 950 for company....wil be fun getting lost in the mountains as neither of us have done the 42nd or fishers....but thats half the adventurein any case there will be lots of ridin an sliden
but would be good to know if your commin so we won't have to wait arround?
will get to meet some of you lot some day I suppose
cheers NF
