I have a sister living in NP. I'm taking this seriously.

If it's hoax/ myth/ joke, it's not exactly funny.

Massive fight outside our local takeaway last night. Two bags of chips got assaulted...(already done the battered joke)

Then there was the Mr Whippy driver found dead in his van covered in 100's and 1000's, the police said he had topped himself, the area is still coned off....

Really? Ok:

1) It's a reported hoax.
2) It's a "supposedly" a police warning in the form of a chain lettter.
3) No one can find the actual police release which should either be on www.police.govt.nz or in a reputable media release.

the interweb has been around long anough now that you, you personally with your 4000+ posts, need to get with the plan and stop allowing this crap to have any effect whatsoever.

If you see any (ANY) posts/emails/mesageboard pleas of this nature, ESPECIALLY ones telling you to "pass this message on to your fiends and family" and you don't look for secondary verification before doing anything...
