Not unless they've changed the rules recently, as kickaha points out. And that would be common knowledge I would've thought.

...its only being phoned to verify that someone was a member that made me think this...seldom been out there testing...always used a few k of road out my way over the last twenty years...thats kind of come to an end now...even the quietest of country roads seem to be chocker with traffic, these days...may even be out there myself...wouldnt mind a bit of time with a new motor before Levels on saturday...

Nah definitely not, it really pays to relax, especially on your first time around a new track. Get used to your surroundings etc. Glad to hear you are ok and that the bike isn't too bad. Need a hand with anything holler out.

thanks man appreciate it but luckily im a painter so wont be a 2 much of a prob. 1 question tho...my rear tyre is in really bad shape now (not sure if its stuffed) the rubber on the front has balled/ruffened up lyk ud expect but definatly heaps of life left in it but wen i got home had a look on the rear and its all started to peal away from the next layer (carcus?) on the edges. would be gutted to think its ready for the bin after 1 ride out to aka and 1 day on track. surely this isnt right

I've not seen that before, and a quick search on the web netted nothing. Maybe someone else could shed some light on it, either that or pop into a reputable tyre shop.

[edit] Is it the side on which the bike went down? Or is it on both sides?

sure is a defective tyre, hope you had fun sorry you went down wasnt your fault tho oh, the new seal they put down last week on that corner was slippery. another corner with new repair seal caused a crash as well...apart from that was a good day!!

as for the tyre i just went in and they said it is fine! caused from too low pressure (was 32 cold) ? appently its rubber thats been pushed down towards the edge not pealing away from the edge.... it didnt look like that too me but shows how much i know

Looking at the pictures that's what I would have picked, although the photography isn't the best

You'll find you can probably pick/peel/scrape it off and the tyre will look like new underneath
