    The speed triple ECU lies.

I've found it usually uses 1L over the reported L per 100 KM.

The most economical seems to be 80kph in 5th gear (assuming without pack / shit on the back and an 80Kg rider). It reports 3.3L - but more like 4.3L per 100km.

My average consumption is usually between 5 - 6L reported - which in reality is about 6 - 7L per 100km

Which is why I asked if the OP is getting near 380km per tank. As he has a 17L tank.

    10s on a zx6? slips please.

my economy on the R 1 is anywhere between 23 and 11km/l, depending on how much rubber I have left on the edge of the tyres

    Nope

More to do with the sedate way I drive my cars and the less than sedate way the Bandit was ridden.

My last 250 was doing 4.0 per 100k, the 400 manages 6 on a good day, mostly open road riding. Bit thirsty really.... 1000cc and two cylinders may help.

Oh and I won the NIGHTWARS 2009 for the bikes on a 2009 Hayabusa.

I have the Trophy on my fridge.

People turn up on there ZX1400's and think there can pull low 10's the truth is they can just pull low 11's and even that is a struggle.

Suggestion you want 10's you will need ALOT of practise.

I don't think a lighter rider is always faster.

Its all about the launch and really nothing else your 60ft time is the most important.

I have Raced down there on a ER6N and smoked the big boys off the light and half way down the track just to be pipp at the post !
