    Not so with a Gsxr1000 vs gn250
Thats why you also have a motorbike (or two), the best of both worlds.

Like anything, it all depends on how you drive it.

My manual 6 speed 5.7L nearly stalls at 100 km/hr in 6th gear (rpm is almost below idle). It's economical, far from gutless, the exhaust note is savage + It hauls arse fully loaded with people & a trailor load of crap.

This is by far the most economical, reliable & practical V8 i've owned (& i've had shit loads).

If i wanted fuel econmony i'd go buy a really fun car like a prius or a super economical 4wd people mover, then i'd slit my wrists.

Hahahah...I take tablets simply for the fun of it mate! But seriously...apart from the fact that my father worked for General Motors for 38 years and would disown me if I turned up in a Falcon...you can't try and tell me a Falcon ute is anything but UGLY and DATED looking compared to an SS Commodore ute mate!

5.7L Chev powered Commodore ute. Rach wants a manual, I'm old and lazy and want an Auto. MUST have a leather interior, and my first colour choices are Hot house Green, Hyper Yellow (but with a black interior, not the baby shit yellow a lot have), Black.

Cheers mate...that's my bid on it! It's just that I'd rather have anything but Red! I'll own it if I get it cheap enough though. Thanks for looking for me!!

Yeah I know mate. I've chatted to Jerry about his. It's a nice one for sure, but I don't want to pay what he wants for it. He told me he'd caught up with you the other day. Funny cunt innit he!

Yep...got to admit, your shaped Falcon is THE nicest one I think the big 'F' have ever made. Very nice ute you have there.

The Com ute in question is nice, but they all have that baby shit yellow interior that in my opinion is putrid!

Cheers...I'll fly anywhere in NZ to collect the right one.

If you're not in a hurry, keep an eye on the Turners Auctions website. For late model vehicles (which are often ex-lease), you can't do better.

I bought a four-year-old BF Falcon through Turners last year - got it for $8K - around half the price of the car-yards.

Online, you can watch (and bid on) auctions live, anywhere in NZ.

Trouble is, it can take time to get the right car at the right price. Mine took over six months, which was a bit extreme.

People who drive "people movers" are simply stating that they have given up on life.

    Nice choice of ute, CFWB!

The crewcab aside from diff problems are a good thing,if Ford did a XR8 doublecab I'd be in,at least you are a diehard holden fan, unlike those who like ford when winning and now holden, then ford.

My XR6 is as thirsty or thrifty as my foot, but my 2.2 accord was as fuel hungry round town as the coon, and my work 1990 L300auto gets 350km from tank of 40-45ltrs approx.Go from Napier to Gissy and uses tank and half due to hills etc.
