Good to hear it... it wasn't his doing breaking his leg, so good to see he'll be able to compete. Hope he isn't in too much pain.

Less than a month after breaking his leg three time
They could use Hitcher for some punctuation in that article...

    Good stuff eh?!

I'm picking Stroudy as the front runner with Robbie, Craig and Dan Stauffer as equal second favourites. Chop and Jimmy will be right amongst it too, but maybe just a smidge behind on experience.

Anyone that watched the proceedings at Hampton Downs tri-series would be a brave man to bet. Stauffer was fastest man on friday practice for starters, Stroud was the man in the first race but Bugden just took off in race two and Shirriffs missed out on pole by .001 second.
Don't forget Nick Cole be out hunting too and Frost several times last season showed he can get on with it, and won the first race at HD too...

At HD it was reasonably clear Cole held up Chop, Stroud etc in Race 2 for a few laps, that let Bugden escape more easily

may have been the case but he had the quickest lap in race 1 and 2 too 0.14 sec, racing should be a shit fight I'm thinking, I'm getting a tilt in my kilt just thinking about it!

I don't reckon Bugden will be fit and fighting in the early rounds, but come HD time I reckon he will be unstoppable. My money would be on him if I wasn't trying to save up for tyres and trackdays.

FAARK! I DID! He'll be right there too. I reckon he'll be battling with Choppa and James Smith (with a new superbike rather than superstock motor now), fractionally behind the other 4 due to inexperience on the big banger.

I can't see Robbie being absolutely 100%, new tracks for Dan Stauffer, and with Craig getting all the shit luck outta the way during the Tri-Series it's even stevens amongst that lot.

Tony Rees could turn up with a bit more fruit on the bike and kick arse too....

WOOT! Lookin' forward to it, I wouldn't be at all suprised if any one of those guys was holding the trophy at the end of it.

    Hell yeah.
Should be a "battle royale" in SBK and probebly most other classes too.
I think Stroudy will relish the increased competition and raise his bar even further.
Although i am not a Sheriiffs fan i think he could be the one! Hopefully his bad luck has been exhausted.
James Smith could be an early front-runner i think.
I agree that Robbie may struggle with fitness early on. But Mr Staufer will be a thorn in all sides.
My pick for upset of the champs is Choppa at levels this weekend.
    My 2 cents

Obviously not, otherwise you'd know that Shirtlifter spells his name Shirriffs.

I think he's going to throw everything at it and do the business.

just watch this man, he hadn't seen hampton downs till the friday practice for tri series and at the end of the day was fastest, his bike was a lot more stock than it will be for the natioanls in the donk dept and modifeid standard suspension has now been replaced with K Tech stuff.
Also first man to win the feature race in 41 years at wanganui as a newcomer.
Don't think he needs long at all to get to know the track.
Must admit too I'd forgotten about James smith, remember he was riding 1000 and 600's last year, and doing well too, now he's on one bike should be abnle to put his all into that.
    Bring it on
