I had an album by a band called The Adventures. They were an Irish band that I saw supporting Fleetwood Mac at Wembley Arena 20 years ago. They were a great band. I didnt really like Fleetwood Mac but I was bought a ticket so went along. They were shite anyway.

Bought the Adventures album on cassette the next day and basically wore it out. Have never been able to find it since.

if you havent got it, you'll like The Promise: outtakes from Darkness on the Edge of Town.

I'm a casual Bruce fan: I like specific songs, but not whole ablums generally

I have a mint copy of Alice Cooper's first record Pretties For You.

I had a live Stranglers record called "Live X Certificate" which I liked. And Stiff Little Fingers "Hanx" (both seem to be unavailable on CD).

My first album ever was the Beatles "Red" album (the greatest hits 1962 -1966) which my dear departed Mum bought for me (she was a Beatles fan too). Then Hotel California by the Eagles (I still like it, and a few of their other songs, and I dont care how naff they are). Then a bunch of glam rock (Bowie mainly), then metal (Zeppelin, Sabbath) then punk.

I still have the Beatles record.

I love the song Glory Days. In fact I'm playing it now.

And most of the Born to Run record. and I really like the song "The River" but not most of the rest of the album.

Best cover of a Bruce song ever ever ever? Glad you asked: Johnny Cash's version of "Highway PAtrolman" off American IV

    IMO of course

According to The Boss, that album would be the one he would most like to rework...

Impressive what you can do with an 8-track recorder in your basement and a big shitfight with your record company!

Yeah .. but I love Emmylou Harris' version of Racing in the Streets

Sorry .. There's a song before Racing in the Streets - it's all I could find.. and there's a bit of talking through it ...
