    You should give it a go. Don't think of it as a car show, just light entertainment. There is some gold amongst all the rubbish, especially the specials.

    Personally, I think the show is starting to get a bit desperate.

    It started as a Car Show, then a bit of the "three guys cocking about" crept in, which was good fun. Gradually the cocking about has increased, to the point that it's all but taken over - the show is now almost entirely Specials and Challenges, with very little serious car content. The natural and easy presentation (and interaction between the three presenters) has given way to an uneasy ratings-driven parody.

    Where the balance should lie is entirely subjective, but I think the show has drifted too far into the frenetic slapstick. It's now more The Three Stooges than a Car Show.
