Sorry, I just didn't get SOA

I really wanted to like it, but only lasted 2 episodes. The immaculately clean colours and the way the cast acted just didn't seem at all like my memories of 1%ers. OK, they were mostly dickheads (viewed from maturity, at the time I thought they were cool), but they were hard bastards whereas the SOA came across as being too Hollywood.

I also saw very little riding and few bikes - has the series improved? Should I start watching?
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

Thats cause the first series aired in the US in 2008. They have had 3 seasons play now. It is a solid program but nothing too spectacular. Worth the watch.

yeah .. know what you mean ... but then, showing too much reality would scare the hell out of most viewers ...

No, something that wasn't sanitised white bread Hollywood - maybe something that actually looked like a series about 1%ers.

Men who went to war, and killed men for their country, only to wake up to the lies they were told. The rest of their lives spent running from the daily horror being played out in fornt of them, but hidden for the masses who have yet to learn to see.

    Would that be on prime?
