Went to visit Mr Qmoto and picked up a new jacket (finally got some leather!) and got the tag on the way.

Didn't take the bike to work as planned as i woke up 10 minutes before my shift started and it would take 10 minutes just to get the bike out between the cars

    So anyway the tags....

Thats definetly the most epic roundabout around.. it has like 5 underpasses converging in the centre, and a huge 12 or so lanes around on top... impressive.. no wonder it took them almost a year to do.. maybe more, I cant remember

Mint new bike too man.. V4 is different (in a good way). Very cool

I have a major bitch about one aspect of this...

    "Shared" cycleway/footpath...

Having spent many hours walking along the "share with care" sections of the footpaths along the river, I can tell you that the "care" bit means "I don't care" if you are a cyclist. If you are on foot, watch out for maniacs on bikes because they don't give a shit about your safety. A bit like motorists and bikes really...I meanta say, there has already been one death as a result of a cyclist hitting a pedestrian and yet we still have these bloody shared paths...

I love flying down those river walks on the bicycle! Always gotta be aware of the walkers though.

My partner was run into by a cyclist on the river walkway just north of Fairfield bridge - knocked flat to the ground by a large (fat!) sod on a bike. He treated her as though it was her fault. Bastard was lucky I wasn't with her...

Then there was the fatality on one of the Flagstaff walkways...
