If I was to turn up at Nelson airport Friday night or Saturday morning would anyone be able to pick me up from the airport, and/or have a spot on a couch available Saturday night?

You're welcome to stay here Eddie. I can pickyou up & Mrs padmei can find something to drop off to her friend in Wellywood.

Spose you'll want to go for a ride somewhere too?

edit -bring a few shocks & things you have lying aroundas payment.

I either will, or won't be here sat and sun.

Hey Padmei. There's a DR650 here with a boring colour scheme. Got any poster paints left?

Yeah probably, if you don't get a better offer.

Hopefully he's run out of undercoat grey.

(Seems to have run out of spaces.

    Further to the 2L challenge...

Normally the 640 runs at about 5.0 - 6.0 L/100km for a-bit-of-everything use. Filled up the other day and recorded 10.2 L/100km... a new record low! Then I remembered... that tank-full was the beach racing

Take away the Maungatapu trip and it looks more like 17 L/100km Certainly can pump some fuel through it at WFO.
    Cheers,
    Colin

I hit reserve a little earlier than expected after the beaching too.

Not as early as Woody though.

If late enough that one could leave Nelson at say 1:45 I could be in.

    Thats weird.

Do you wanna buy my Benelli? its sort of a cafe racer, but its now relegated to under the bench which means it will probly never see the light of day .
