If y'all wanna take in some twisties before Paeroa, some of us Southsiders are planning on getting there via Kaiaua > Kopu > Whangamata > Waihi. Might need a somewhat earlier start though. Anyway, the offer's there. I'm sure some more details will appear in the SATNR/SARSAR threads over the next few days (we're not as organised as you lot it appears).

Not sure if its still like that- but the first about 4 kms of road from Kopu towards Tairua was awful last time I was on it (about Mid December). Roadworks with large stones, making the riding pretty dodgy. You might want to ask around if it is still like that...

so to clarify : leaving from Mobil Oteha valley road (towards the Browns Bay side) at 8:30 am to go to Paeroa. So 8:00 to leave the Mobil at 8:30 then.

Stopping at Autobahn BP (at Pukekohe turnoff) for breakfast at about 9am.

Others are coming from west Auckland too, and meeting at the Autobahn BP.

    Cant wait!!

Isn't a no handed stoppie just a crash into the back of the car in front?
Or is that the no handed stoppie with a wave?

That'd be too expensive - can't I just throw myself at the floor or something?
