    need to turn the ignition off to do that cos its the CDI looks for an earth to determine which map to use, but you can switch them.

    How Heavy are you and your height? I have noticed a lot of wr450 on the trail rides I have been doing.
    Its always a good ride when you come home in one piece.

    barty, here, try this, applies to non alloy frame wr's but you can adapt them to the 07 on

    I wonder if you plugged the grey wire in on a YZ it would switch to WR map ??

    taking a wr for a ride tonight will give my verdict afterwards. I could end up owning it

    Cheers but i think an 09 will be pushing my budget. Before i can buy i need to sell a car so will have to pull finger and get it listed, anybody want to buy a 68 Ford Anglia Ha.

    I just bought an 03 Wr250 for $3500 has the grey wire mod climbs up bigger hills then my kxf other then that pretty simmilar.
    Its always a good ride when you come home in one piece.

    If it was the one on trademe i was watching that one looked like a good one another one up this way one owner and very tidy but wants a bit more for it than what you paid. If i get my bike in time we are hoping to come down to the Onga Onga ride my brother in law lives there so have free digs.

    I missed this im 180cm and 85kg so not to big for the 250, mmmm 450 would be nice but think i will just ease myself back into the riding rather than arive full noise.
