He's got you there Zeo. Longer ride next week eh? So I don't feel like my bike's overheating engine's trying to cook me at low speed or traffic lights!

I think we should fill it with pumpkins, leave it out in the sun for a few days and hand it back to him ...

oh yeah, Steel_phoenix, sorry I didn't let you sit on Cammy. I'm still in my protective phase of her, that coupled with the awkward slope and a high saddle height (a shorter person I know dropped my 250 [hyosungs have a high saddle]) swayed my judgement. Remind me next time we're at momo tea, or somewhere flat carparky.

Thought I saw Steel Phoenix this morning, waiting outside the Yamaha shop on the corner of the Tristram Rd offramp. Wasn't sure at first but then I saw the Scorpio and the Batman t-shirt, figured it was her, so gave her a wave

One of my workmates heard me coming up the road towards the work carpark this morning and accused my bike of being too loud, said I should put a silencer on it. I just laughed and said I was planning to get a loudener instead

I spent about half an hour last night listening to the different pipes I could get on youtube. Still tending towards a full Yoshimura system, not going to be cheap though, since I will also need a power commander and dyno tuning... and...

You probably won't need a dyno, there'll no doubt be a plethora of custom maps for the PC with popular pipes like Yoshi - but, don't get a yoshimura, that's suzuki's pipe, you don't want a poosuzki on your Honda! :P! My personal fav for litre bike and up are Leo Vince and Scorpion, they give you that nice deep growl, sexy!

And can someone please buy my bike already? I found a bike I really really want but I can't buy it until I sell mine!

the leo vince did sound nice, but looks like sin. Was talking to the cyclespot mechanics and they recommended the yoshi system.

Haha yeah it looks like an abortion of a steampunk trumpet, I have to admit.

Yoshi probably do have the most popular system for it, but I'd probably still go for a scorpion or something just to be different.

The Taylormade one looks real nice, sounds real loud, but is expensive as hell and is slip on only, not a full system.

Eh, no problemo. I can totally understand that!

Speaking of, I've been sitting on bikes a lot today, was killing time while Scorpie got serviced. Went to Holeshot and Cyclespot (after getting that balaclava I've been meaning to get for friggin' ages from Cycletreads). General impressions of bikes:
SV650 - Most comfortable, but not the sportiest thing in the world. Practical.
FZ6R - Quite comfy, liked the semi-sport feel of it. Tasty styling.
CBR600 - Quite comfy, best of the supersports. Light feeling.
Hornet 600 - Like the newer styling. Very comfortable position, what I'm used to.
Daytona 675 - Still desperately in love with the styling. Not too tall (surprising!), rested on the tank rather than the wrists.
Ninja 650 - Surprisingly non-sporty riding position - comfortable. Nice styling, but doesn't move me.
R6 - Very forward position, but stable. Quite hard on the wrists.
Gixxer - Right out, I felt like I was tipping over forwards... and it was too tall.

I thought it was you! Hah! Yes, Scorpie needed her 11000km service and a new WOF. They gave me a loan Scorpio (in blue, lol) to zoom about the North Shore while I was waiting - quite an experience to go from a 2010 model to a 2007, and a completely different rider setup.
    R.I.P. Kotaka - Honda CBR250RR 1990 MC22 - my first bike.

Interesting, which model Gixxer? I wonder how it would compare to Tracey's one. She's got a sweet '07.
