    2003 Suzuki SV1000S

Well it's time for the bike to go.

    So here is my:

    Tardme link http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...192486&ed=true

    2003 Suzuki SV1000S first registered in 2005

This bike is absolutely amazing. I got this bike as my first full size bike after my getting my full and it really is just a blast to ride. It has been very forgiving in my first few moments of learning what not to do to a 1000cc V-Twin in the rain ( Don't blip that throttle tooo much ) and has been an exceptional bike to ride at any time.

This bike has heaps of torque, enough that you don't need to change gears, just roll on the throttle and feel it pull you forward like a gorilla has decided you don't need your arms in your sockets anymore. Add to that a healthy amount of power and impeccable cornering manners and you have a well behaved bike thats is great for sports touring but if you decide you want to try out the grip on the sides of your tires it is more than willing to have a crack at that too.

This bike is in excellent condition, I wash it every weekend and always after a long ride. I absolutely love my SV and it will be sorely missed. The only reason I am selling it is that I would like a newer bike.

It does have the usual small amount of stone chips and tiny scratches that you find on any bike.

Still HEAPS of Rego and WOF left to take advantage of.

All work done by W.O.T. Motorcycles

    Features:
    -Excellent condition
-Service history (Since I have owned it)
-Plenty of tread on the tyres.
    -Rego untill 12/10
    -WOF untill 22/11
-Fitted with Scorpion Pipes that sound awesome
    -New K&N Air filter
    -Tail Tidy
    -40000 km service
    -Fork seals done TODAY 7/7

Has extremely minor visual damage on exhaust.

NO tyre kickers, NO test rides without proof of funds.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Would be keen for a trade plus cash your way for a GSX-R 750/1000 or another V-Twin and would consider any litre bike.

    Willing to negotiate on price.

drop the price and you'll sell it.

    I just bought a gsx1200y 2000 for 3k.

Bikes are only selling for one price, and thats cheap.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Your ad looks ok. And the price is alright... I think bikes don't sell as well coming out of summer...

If I were to suggest anything I'd say you should think about why you love the bike (and riding in general actually), and then try to get that across in your advertisement. You'll capture all the people like you who are looking for a bike (even if you alienate those people who aren't like you).

Take a look at my advertisement for the VTR I just sold:

Maybe 250s just get more attention (?), but I had maybe 5 or 6 people come and look in the 3 weeks it took to sell.

    Meh. Just a thought!
