They may have faster 'over the ground speed' but because their lines are soooooooo sweeping wide the end result is you arrive at the exit at about the same time (or in Chops case I'd hazzard a guess faster).

Hampton Downs and most notably the hairpin. Id be keen to race someone on a 125 around a go kart track

so what your saying is if i limited your Beemer to 40 odd hp, (shit ill be nice and give you 50) you would go around any track in the known universe faster than a 125????

Well just slow down then. Reduce the risk. It's not a race ya know

Practice day is not official so to get more racing in SBK + 600 combined, Sidecars, F3 and Maybe 125s Combined depending on numbers then we can get some decent testing done. Clubmens, Motard and Streetstock etc are support classes at this series. Not sure what support classes are running at R4 though
StreetStock is run on-track with ProLite 250's, which IS a Championship class

They're not, the Prima Donna riders just like to think they are, makes them feel special or something

Yup thats good then, if classes can be combined thats great. Maybe the 600 and superbike practices could be joint together and we can get double the time

Duuuude, you aren't doing your cause much good. Everyone pays the same money for entry so there's no room for us and them type stuff. You are just alienating the other 90% of the paddock.

Superbikes more dangerous? They may be the fastest but they don't have a dirty great hinge in the middle and twice as much power as when they rolled off the production line 30 years ago.

Nah, as a newcomer to the superbike ranks I'd be opting for a lower profile and just observing the lay of the land. It's a minefeild on and off track so treading lightly is the best policy. Case in point: I think Choppa was more concerned with losing the morning on track than track time to other classes. Here you have gone off on a tangent, pissed off everyone other than a Superbike rider and all over a misunderstanding.

I occasionally wobble out for a race (chase?) on my superbike and I'd rather not be tarred with the brush you are waving around.

Where and when on a race track in NZ does 298kms get hit? Just wondering as after watching the speeds from Round one of the WSBK at Phillip Island - on significantly higher speced bikes than what is run in NZ - were in excess of 300 but thats with big horses.......

I will no doubt be corrected

Pukekohe back straight's far in excess of 300kay on an NZSBK I'd wager. Luckily, there's no racing there anymore.
